ROTATEK, S.A., the Spanish manufacturer of rotary printing presses and allied equipment presents its new label slitter rewinder RTK 330 with die-cutting unit for blank label production. The machine was built following the latest technological developments and is designed to meet the more and more demanding needs of the self-adhesive and flexible packaging markets. The basic functions fulfilled by this machine are roll rewinding, missing label or matrix error detection, slitting, label or meter counting and blank label die-cutting.

The inspection-slitter-rewinder RTK 330 is equipped with an electronic web guide, 2 splicing tables with 2 pneumatic clamps each, inspection table with 6 missing label detectors, and a slitting unit with 3 rotary, laterally adjustable knifes. According to the production needs, the roll can be rewinded labels in or labels out. The counting device that sums either the number of labels or meters passing through the machine and stops automatically when the prefixed amount is reached, makes the production of label rolls very comfortable.

ROTATEK also provides optional equipment like a stroboscope lamp, splice or flag detectors, an electrical roll lifter or a trim extractor for the die-cutting unit. After the first presentation of this new machine to the Spanish market at Graphispag in February 2003, Rotatek now launches the RTK 330 at international scale with demonstrations at Labelexpo Europe 2003
