Atlas slitter rewinders, particularly the large primary film slitters installed with stenter lines, have enjoyed a great reception in China throughout the last decade. Sales in the current boom in China are proving that Atlas is winning the great majority of orders, in spite of growing international competition.

With the market attracting competition from around the world, Atlas maintained a 2 to 1 superiority in 2002 compared with the next biggest supplier, taking a 60% share of the business overall.

An outstanding feature of sales in 2002 has been the customer loyalty which characterises Atlas sales in other markets around the world. More than 10 large film slitters were ordered in 2002 from existing Atlas customers in China alone.

Atlas has maintained its policy of continuous product development as well as establishing a substantially improved customer service and support facility to improve customer care.
