LAV Flexologic with more than 35 years of experience in the prepress fl exo market and well known worldwide for their advanced mounter/ proofers, platemaking equipment, viscosity controllers and the inventors of the seamless sleeve system have extended their product range. AV Flexologic will launch a complete line of post-press fl exo equipment. This enables customers to clean their fl exo plates after printing, as well as de-mounting the plates and double sided tapes.

“We found a solution which will not only save time, but also assures perfect cleaning. With the demounter, customers are able to reuse existing sleeves as new with no required manual force,” a company spokesperson said. Recently AV launched the SleeveCleaner, a very easy to use machine to clean the plates that will stay mounted on the sleeves. The machine is modular built, allowing the user to create a buffer of sleeves according to demand. Different widths are available. Sleeves are inserted on one side and are automatically cleaned and dried. The cleaning takes place in a specially developed brush confi guration. The machine is suitable to clean sleeves that are used for solvent inks as well as for water inks. Duration for cleaning of one sleeve is approximately ten minutes.
